I love my mornings with Evan! Today was a typical one. Evan woke up about 7:15am and Joel went to his room to play a few minutes so that I could drag myself out of bed to start another day (I'm still not the perfect morning person). But there is just something I love about the minute I walk into Evan's room and his face lights up and he knows he's going to get his milk. He could have been playing perfectly with his daddy for any number of minutes but drops everything to speed-crawl in my direction, climb up my leg, and attempt to sign "milk."

After nursing Evan, he gets a few minutes to play while I drink a cup of coffee and watch parts of Good Morning America. Evan enjoys taking apart every single piece of his floor mat. This picture is actually from the other night, but you get the idea. (Chris thought it would be fun to put the letter "P" on Evan's head)
After a few minutes of playtime (and coffee time for me!), Evan and I have our breakfast. I am addicted to Cinnamon Life! Luckily Sam's had a big box of it the other day...I couldn't pass that up! Evan usually eats oatmeal or mixed grains cereal with some sort of fruit. Blueberries are in season right now so he's been having lots of them. Occasionally he has cheerios and yogurt which he loves too.

After breakfast we usually go up to Evan's room for a little more play time. He loves to pull every single book out of his basket and then just sit there in the middle of them....

And he still loves a good doorstop...

Almost every morning before naptime we go for a walk. We've had some beautiful mornings here lately! Evan loves to be outside and is SO content in his stroller...as long as its moving. We stopped to look at the flowers blooming in our neighborhood....

Hope Your Morning was as good as mine!

wierd. I just got finished posting...been working on it all day and figured I would finally read everyones blogs. We posted about the same stuff today and I didn't even know it.
