New Blog: Beyond Tuesday
I know Jen is the one who keeps this blog up...and I love reading all of your comments so keep them coming...so I thought I'd share with our few faithful readers that my colleague and I have started a new blog that is loosely connected with our company, SGS. It's called Beyond Tuesday and its a political blog and podcast for the rest of us. Its for everyone who cares about politics but doesn't really understand a lot of what goes on or why its important. We're going to try our best to talk about things that matter to all of us and we also will be doing a weekly podcast, every Wednesday. If you get a chance, check it out, here's the link:
Beyond Tuesday Blog and Podcasts

Hope you're all well!
-Joel

Joel - i went to your new blog and read it. I think it will be appealing to your generation and the Y'ers, too. You are right about the role that technology plays in the lives of the current adolescents, young adults, and fresh-in-career adults. Dad and I are proud of ourselves for learning how to do power points while people your age roar past us on the technology highway! Maybe I should spend some of the money I made at my garage sale today on an I-Pod! Would you show me how to use it??? Love, Mom

The end is in sight! I hope you both are doing well this election season : ) And that you be able to get some much needed time together after it is all over! Just checking on you and seeing how things were going down there. Call when you are up this way for Thanksgiving and we'll try to see if we can get together! Jackson is doing a lot more new tricks since last time you saw him : )
Hang in there!

First things first...this is Jared, the election-season-long houseguest. 2nd, I wasn't sure where to post this, so I guess it goes here.

Wow, what to say? Joel & Jen are INCREDIBLE hosts; generous & gracious beyond belief, especially to host me for so long. My stuff cluttered their guestroom for 76 days...that's over 20% of a year!

It was a looooong season, but worth it, I think. It was a good experience, I'm glad I came, & I'm glad I got to work with Joel and the others in his company.

Not sure what else to say but "thanks," and that, if nothing else, it was (for all the right reasons) unforgettable.
